International Students

Homebush Boys High School proudly welcomes and supports international students, offering them an enriching educational experience that balances academic excellence with outstanding wellbeing support. We currently have 50 international students enrolled and are looking forward to welcoming more in the coming years as our international program continues to grow.

Our commitment to student wellbeing is at the heart of our international program. In recognition of this, HBHS was honoured with the International Students Coordinator of the Year Award 2024, acknowledging our dedication to providing exceptional care, guidance, and advocacy for international students. Students are supported by a comprehensive wellbeing team, subject teachers, and the International Students Coordinator, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional needs are met.

HBHS also plays an active role in building global connections. We host international school tours from various countries and provide visiting groups with immersion programs, including excursions, taster lessons, and real classroom experiences. These initiatives give students authentic insights into Australian schooling, while also allowing our own students to engage in meaningful cross-cultural exchanges. Feedback from visiting schools has consistently praised the high quality of these programs and the welcoming, inclusive atmosphere of our school.

Our international students are an integral part of the HBHS community, contributing to the rich cultural diversity that makes our school unique. With strong academic programs, a supportive learning environment, and a focus on global citizenship, HBHS is committed to helping every international student thrive and achieve their personal and academic goals.
